金融专业需要学英语。
原因：
1、全国所有的高校都必须开设公共英语，并且大部分学校要求必须通过英语的四级考试，否则不能毕业。
2、专业要求，现代金融学的殿堂在西方尤其是英美，要想在学术上有突破，最好能读英语原著。所以金融专业学习英语是必须的。
3、工作需要，在现在的社会就业形势下，学习好英语对未来的就业是非常有帮助的。
